The high-sensitivity anti-collision sensor for automatic door

With the development of the times and the progress of society, more and more high-rise buildings are spreading over the land of China. High-quality life has become the goal of the people. Large buildings such as hotels, guesthouses, banks, and shopping malls are regularly seen in China. High-level intelligent two-wing or three-wing automation doors come into our lives.

Most of the automatic door control system consists of a programmable logic controller (PLC) supplemented by various high-performance intelligent sensors. The presence or absence of pedestrians in the intelligent induction safe area determines whether the automatic door opens or closes. During the operation of the door, it is necessary to ensure that the passersby can pass smoothly without being pinched or jammed. The sensitivity of the collision sensor is particularly important for the safe operation of the door.

This sensor is usually divided into two kinds of working modes: contact and non-contact. Non-contact is the infrared type divided into photoelectric reflection and radiation, and the contact type is divided into three types: bone joint type, pointed contact belt type and airbag type. These three are mechanical contact types, which need to be sealed in special rubber bands. The tape shrinks with temperature and causes many failures. During the operation, the bone joint type sensor has long-term work, and the sensitivity of bone joint stagnation decreases. Once damaged, it is difficult for users to repair and reuse it by themselves.

The airbag sensor is based on the human contact signal, and the compressed air in the pressure detector is delivered to the pressure wave switch by a hose. The oscillating membrane of the switch was pushed aside by the sudden pressure, which caused the electric contact switch to be connected. Such sensors are widely used, but because the contact signal pressure intensity is required, the sensitivity is low and problems are easy to occur.

The safety pointed angular contact strip sensor is a connection point that two sealed contact elements sealed in a rubber tube separated by a specific distance. The upper contact surface of the relevant space is tightly closed by a pressure. Because the domestic market mostly uses plastic material as the contact belt material, it will be affected by temperature. During the installation of the equipment in the north, it was found that due to the low temperature in winter, the contact strips were self-connected when they encountered cold contraction, which caused the sensor to malfunction. In view of the above situation, a high-sensitivity anti-collision sensor was designed after careful consideration and research.

The newly designed sensors are mainly made of the SLP series 10-inch water column low-pressure original produced by OSENT. This type of component is composed of a high-sensitivity semiconductor strain bridge, which can accurately measure the differential pressure of 0-10 inches of water column and the meter.
